The critics were so wrong in their rating. Close was outstanding. This movie shows a family who goes through addiction, poverty and how family sticks together through all the hardships. How JD broke the cycle ,no matter the obstacles, he made it. Amy Adams played the mom and Basso as JD ,were both excellent.
