This is a slower, less action-focused Bond movie that definitely brings closure to the character and gives the "end of an era feeling" to the watcher.
Daniel Craig definitely doesn't disappoint, but he is obviously older and has a lot of emotion and more dialogue to say in this movie than most of the others. I think if you haven't followed the other movies, you will be a bit bored even, or confused by all the allusions.
The new 007 is an interesting cast. She doesn't have a lot of personality. I don't see her being able to successfully carry the franchise forward.
It is a must see for Bond fans, but maybe take in a matinee instead of paying the big bucks.
P.S. Why oh why did they pick Billie Eilish to sing the opening number? It hurts your ears and sets a horrible tone...pun intended...for the beginning of the film. Just yuck!
