This game is amazing. Love the graphics, (can't speak much because I only got this game in early 2023...) But I highly recommend this Sonic title, it's a must-have for new and old fans alike. The lore/story of this game suits well within the boundaries of the all Sonic games prefered genres and climate/atmosphere, while going to even greater heights, keeping the characters introduced simple, yet loveable, in a way that never gets old. Buy it, it's worth your cash.
I'm a really optimistic Sonic fan, and when a game is announced, I want to be the first to have it. (Never happens...) Anyways, this game really lived up to it's reputation and advertisements of the second tenth of the twenty-first century. If you like Sonic, this is definitely your game. The nostalgia is amazing, and running around at high speeds as the one and only Sonic is something great to pass the time, or waste a whole day, if you know what I mean. Sonic Origins is a downright cashgrab people, so you don't need to add it to your collect. If you want, go to your mobile devices app store and purchase the no-advertisement in-app purchases for the mobile ports, to support Sega the right way. But wasting over 30 dollars isn't worth the hassle, and definitely doesn't meet Sonic's fanbase's expectations. But you can expect fun out of this one. I like 2.5D games, believe me. But some bad things about this, is that if you're speedrunning, you're constantly switching between 2.5D to 3D. (2.5D is a mix of 3D elements in a 2D level design.) I like how they also integrated the spindash for modern Sonic's level's. (If you really want to see it in action, you're going to have to be in City Escape and boost alongside the walls.) But nonetheless, a great Sonic experience.
