Please do not expose you children to this rubbish . . . science is difficult enough to teach without using your religious beliefs to explain scientific phenomenon. The Bible is not meant to be taken literally as so many have chosen to do . . . I grew up in the Church of Christ, a VERY conservative church that allowed no musical instruments in church, no dancing, no drinking, no divorce and much more. They would not allow women, even my mother who was a school teacher, to teach children over the age of 6. Unfortunately, so many churches are not able to see that the Bible has good things to teach but it is not to be taken literally. Otherwise, you would be negating a history of scientific accomplishments which have been proven again and again to be true by a careful analysis of facts NOT by one scientist but by many, many, many scientist over a long period of time. It's an allegory! Look the word up if you don't know it! It's literature; not a scientific manifesto!
