Terrible story that you won’t even realise it’s over cause it’s so abrupt the parkour is embarrassing and unresponsive. The characters are forgettable and boring and Eivor is my least favourite AC protagonist. The world is a step down from previous installations. The combat is brutal and interesting but due to the poor and just dumb rpg system feels repetitive because you end up using the same weapon for the whole 100+ hours and get bored so you have to swap and level a whole other weapon. The open world feels full of tedious objectives that don’t help the experience and if you want to complete all districts you will have to put in lots of time that you won’t enjoy. The boss fights are alright sometimes against humans but for animals especially one of the final boss fights it’s horrendous. For any trophy hunters the fishing one is very boring but they aren’t very hard just tedious. Also unlike origins with the focus on assassins creation and odyssey with an interesting story and world with the cult of kosmos the order of the ancients in this game feel so secondary as you pillage and destroy England and i can’t help but feel evil, not in a AC rogue or Haytham way just straight up i feel morally that my actions are unjustified meaning i can’t connect to eivor and feel like a bad person as i try to politically take over these foreign lands. Also small issue but the bow feels terrible like i’m not expecting it to feel like Horizon Forbidden West but it’s even worse in feeling than AC Odyssey which came out before Valhalla. Also the micro transactions are annoying by having so much to buy in a full price game is enough to have some kids purchase these without realising the malevolent actions of this massive corporation. Also the game gives you some credit for free but not enough to by anything of value basically just promoting you to spend more on an overpriced game which feels especially wrong coming from a company that should make games to service the fans that pay their wages. I won’t deny that AC Valhalla gives a lot to do in its massive worlds however since the stuff you do in the main story feels like tedious side quests and the exploration isn’t really there in terms of fun, like for say in Elden ring, I would definitely argue this game is not worth your money because even with all these systems jammed into one project i could never argue that this is a comprehensive game and especially one that is produced by a company of such revenue and also in the past great games that hit on all aspects where AC Valhalla falls short which is a lot
I would like to add i have 130 hours on this game as I am trying to platinum all Assasins creed games so I can guarantee that I speak well informed and not controlled by the glee when playing a new big open world rpg
