I feel like this is a film for everyone. Great cinematography, a semi autobiography of Spielberg's life, well written characters, and some pretty radical spectacle. I mean one of favorite scenes is just a little piece of this amazing movie! Also it added to my belief that those from California are hell spawns, viva la Midwest! But aside from that, you also don't need to be Jewish to like this movie that I see some say. This movie connected to me despite me being as far from Jewish as possible because I connected with sam's love for his family, and his art. This movie touched me like how my uncle touches underage girls, all over. So if you haven't seen this then give it a watch. P.S. if you know a thing or two about cinematography then this movie is right up your alley.
