Painfully slow going. I can't recall one happy, well adjusted character in the entire film . Many scenes are the actors just staring into space saying nothing. Very odd. The film is dark, muddled, and accomplishes absolutely nothing. Most certainly, it is not entertaining. Misguided, undeveloped characters whos performances come across completely flat , lifeless, and lacking any real energy whatsoever. To have such a star studded cast at your creative disposal and do nothing with it... seems a shameful waste of talent. Don't expect any depth to the plot. It just isn't there. The premise itself is tired and familiar. Total waste of time, film , and talent, in my opinion.

Painfully slow going. This movie is so boring that after thirty minutes in, I sped it up to the last fifteen minutes. Not only a waste of time and an absolute horrible movie, It's one of those that is so bad that it's literally irritating. Every moment that passes I was thinking God, Does this shit show go on much longer? I'm truly shocked that this movie has any good reviews. That is the one thing about this movie I cannot explain. It is nothing new or unusually creative. By the end you just want to smack the smile off of everyone's face... yes, It's that bad! It's not just bad, it's unapologetically long, slow and dull.

This movie is painfully slow going. All is revealed within the first 10 minutes of the movie, making the next hour and a half seem unnecessarily torturous. I Checked my watch 32 times during this film, and I don't even wear a watch. The plot is unusually predictable. It's not like him pander to the lowest common denominator but ,with this film, he has done just that. It feels as if he wrote this movie solely for his daughter, so she could have a starring role and soundtrack to promote. She's lovely by the way. In the end it's just another collection of tarnished cliches. Nothing special, nothing new. After he did the movie signs I expected brilliant works from this young man. Every film thereafter has been nothing more than a slow descent to mediocrity.

This movie is so disgusting and gross that after 5 minutes you feel like you need to get up and go take a shower. Constant full male nudity, pornography and drug use. There is nothing interesting about watching filthy , uneducated , poor, fat people shooting up / smoking meth and screwing. Calling this film dark would be an understatement. It's raw and filthy and stomach turning. Truly nauseating Cast of fat dirty hillbillies screwing and shooting drugs. Absolutely sickening.

Absolutely stinks! Don't waste your time. The premise of the story could have led to a great movie, but instead goes nowhere. Predictable, under developed characters, mediocre acting at best, painfully slow with no real progress in any direction . Cinematography was horrible. If you cut out all the constant shots of the waves, water and rocks your left with about an hour long story that never goes deep enough to even be interesting. Total Debbie downer snoozefest!
