----FIRST REVIEW----
Overall...I am glad they made it. In terms of appeal and actual time spent watching it (so far), it's a B or B- experience.
Am I glad to be watching Star Wars? Yes. Do I wish it wasn't as vanilla? Yes. The dialogue is odd and sometimes too predictable. (SPOILER) I also really wish they hadn't killed off one of the main reasons why I was excited about watching the show. Truly a weird decision. The actor gets used to promote the show and then blam—just kidding.
I am hoping for a better return the galaxy in the next episodes.
----EDITED REVIEW----
Holy bananas....this show is weak. The dialogue is odd and forced (forgive my pun), the character movement/timing is also odd and forced.
You could guess the villain a mile away, so there goes that moment. The era feels immensely wasted on this story. The light sabers look HUGE and not real. They wasted the 1st live-action Wookie Jedi in the universe. Honestly, I just get so held up on each episode with the dialogue and things mentioned...so the experience is painful.
Episode 5 would have felt more impactful from a story and character stand point if they actually made you fall in love with the characters...which hasn't happened.
My original B- has turned into a sour D-. Don't bother with this show.
