An excellent and completely heartbreaking film. I'm not ashamed to say I, as a grown man, couldn't keep from sobbing at the final revelation.

This show has an excellent premise and story, drawing parodies from several different popular works of fantasy. If that story had been given without all the nonsense, I would have given it five stars. Unfortunately the show is heavily laced with perversions of every sort, including homosexuality, adultery, bestiality, pedophilia, and heavy drug use. The writers also went out of their way to incorporate anti-male and pro-abortion propaganda at numerous points in the show. If the watcher can get past all that the story can be enjoyed. They just have to avoid throwing up every couple of episodes when some new perversion is thrown up on the screen.

I started watching this show expecting very little. The casting choices gave me an original impression that this show would be another SJW sermon covered with the veneer of a beloved franchise, like so many other shows and movies that have been released in the past few years. I was happily mistaken. Percy is perfectly cast, with a very similar appearance to what one would expect of a Greek demigod, and a likeable quality. Annabeth's actress perfectly represents the spirit, if not the appearance, of the book version. Even Grover's casting seems pretty spot on, so long as one isn't expecting comedy. Fans have complained for years about visual adaptions of their beloved franchises not embodying the spirit of the books. In this case I believe there is very little cause for complaint. This show may come closer to following the books than any other adaption of a book I have seen. Certainly it beats the movies by a long shot. I'm tentatively giving this 5 stars, with the hopes that the show does not decide to force some trans nonsense down our throats in a future episode.
