The show is written for an obvious audience - preteen and teenage females. The dialogue is cringe. There will be a "magical emergency" and the characters will stop to talk through their feelings. Its also apparent through the dialogue surrounding any perceived slight, during which any character will begin to cry and the argument will be over. Most frustratingly, the show also randomly interjects hip feeling music (M83, etc) sporadically without any specific direction or purpose. Poor acting, production, and dialogue aside, the show does a moderate job at film-work and being mildly inventive with the fantasy genre.
