Honestly impressive that with ten years and a hundred million dollars they still got absolutely trounced by the 2012 web series.
The CGI is middling. The pacing is bad. The changes to the story strip out what little subtlety existed, and add nothing new or interesting. The dialogue is painful emoting worthy of GI Joe. The characters are either flat or play somewhere deep on the Stupid-Evil axis, seemingly for no reason other than to provide a sense of conflict.
This is what you get when someone who has nothing to say tries to write a story for a vague, market-researched audience.
Please, give me a negative star option.
