The reviews here of this film do not do it justice. It is by far one of the best Viking Age period dramas I have seen. Too many people watched “Vikings” or “the last kingdom” on Netflix and got some messed up idea of what this was going to be like. It is bloody, hard core, and full of scenes that have understandably made a lot of folks uncomfortable. The plot revolves around varying interpretations of free will and man’s ability to escape fate. It’s not going to be one of the bargain bin adventure shows you see dominating the market right now. People are either gonna rate this 5 stars or 1 star The one star folks are simply not the intended audience and should just wait for the next season of “Vikings Valhalla” to fill their Viking drama fix
