This adaptation of the evergreen and charismatic manga created by Oda sensei, is a mixed bag.
If there ever was a gateway for non-manga/non-anime fans to step into the world that we see, then this would be it.
While it manages to capture the emotions that the characters portray, it lacks the development that the anime could give.
The other lacklustre aspect is more of the fights that Luffy has. While Inaki is decent as a Luffy, his fight scenes are not decent at all, instead feeling like the sequences are rushed.
Overall, it isn't going to be immensely favourable to anime fans, but will be intriguing enough for others.
After all, this did get my mom and grandmom hooked into the One Piece sgaa😂
