While some of his starring role films have left something to be desired, other cinematic offerings were somewhat better. “Black Adam” is quite possibly the best, and I mean the very best, of all DC Comics movies. Dwayne Johnson’s natural charisma and vision have proven to be the catalyst DCEU needs to rival the overrated Marvel Studios flicks. Zack Snyder was good for Justice League, this film project and those to come are showing the fans a new heirarchy in DCEU film artistry. The only thing that can stop this speeding train before it reaches the potential Johnson foresees for the DCEU is Black Adam losing to the idiotic parody of SHAZAM. In my opinion, the after credits scene should have been: SUPERMAN: “Black Adam, I think we...” BLACK ADAM: “It doesn’t matter what you think!” BOOM! The magic lightning bolt strikes Superman leaving him shivering in the fetal position. WONDER WOMAN steps into the scene, looking down at Superman and seductively says, “Once you go Black, you never go back.” WONDER WOMAN drops her JL ID card in front of Superman, takes Black Adam’s hand and the two fly away. SECOND AFTER CREDIT SCENE: DOCTOR FATE is floating in total darkness and says, “The destructive energies released by the constant strife between forces of good and evil has damaged The Wall.... He is risen...” Two shapes of eyes open in a blinding white flash of light, in the center of each eye is a human skull. “Vengeance is awakened.”

This isn't a "Hollywood Blockbuster" with a $100 million dollar budget. There are no "A-Listers" or former "A-Listers". It's far, far better. This movie has actors and actresses that are passionate in their craft and it shows. With most red carpet movies, within 5 minutes you can call the ending. With this one, you can't. Good story with great acting and the one thing I appreciate is there are no useless sex scenes or nudity for nudity's sake.

In my opinion the entire Blade franchise stands as the best superhero comic to screen adaptation there is. Wesley Snipes delivered a fine performance again... Now that I think about, the Illuminati is represented by the Vampire Nation, pulling the strings in the shadow... My only hang up is there should've been more Donnie Yen choreographed fight scenes, the man is The Phenom of the Martial Arts.
