I saw the trailer and was intrigued by the plot. It was fast paced and held my interest through the first season. The Main character played by Keifer Southerland is well done and a quite likable character as are his children.
A solid family man thrust into the presidency unexpectedly and totally unprepared for the tsunami of crisis he will face with virtually no experience is a thrill to watch.
He is a family man thrust into the most demanding job in the world and must juggle his domestic life with his public life all the while being put under spotlight. The one character I did not like was the wife of the president. She plays a lawyer and seems to get in his way and cause more problems then she helps to solve, because she wants to be in on the action. She comes off as a jealous , ambitious and somewhat arrogant player in the whole scenario.
All in all I have like what I have seen and coming into the second season I am still watching faithfully.
