I like the idea of this story and was looking forward to reading a spooky thriller. Instead, I got bored halfway through and ended up not caring what happened to anyone. The story went in a lot of different directions and had so many characters that it seemed like three random stories happening at once. Trying to tie it all together at the end fell short for me.
