You get campaigns from various times in history. You get competitive multiplayer. You get to play various mods created by the fanbase (new modes, custom campaigns, and basically changing the rules). If you're nervous at first, you can get together a few humans and bash AI in co-op or unrated multiplayer. There are even downloadable AIs where you can play 6v2! The possibilities are endless because of its scenario editor... and the graphics are very decent for what it is. This game never gets old.
