As a kid who grew up with the films, watching the cartoon, and always dreaming of owning the firehouse you poured slim in the top 😄 I bought into the hype of this reboot/sequel. There are plenty of nods to the original film throughout that satisfy my nostalgia craving, enough jokes to make me cry laughing, and feels to make those tears roll into my popcorn. I totally recommend anyone to watch the film, but you'll only get the full effect if you've seen the original. Stay for the credits... no ALL the credits!
