She cooks like I do. I grew up in the Midwest in a big family and simplicity and speed are often necessary. However, as we have all aged, making healthy more vegetable laden meals and meals with more spice and depth have become the norm now. My family and friends are huge fans of recipes that I use from Ree's show, such as Asian Braised Beef, all of the sheet pan meals and chicken curries to name a few. I appreciate her talent and her desire to make meals from whatever you may have in your pantry, all while explaining substitutions for other ingredients or additions for your family.
