Owing I'm sure to (the creator) Oda's involvement and a cast and crew of highly enthusiastic individuals, this live-action adaptation captured the heart of what makes One Piece great. I cannot wait for further seasons, when this group will get to delve into even deeper themes from One Piece. The loudest complaints will no doubt call attention to differences in story, character, or dialog. But they'll ignore the fact that this adaptation captured the rougish and foolhardy insistance on doing the impossible that the manga/anime so well portray. Give this show a watch!
