Stray was visually appealing and, as a cat person, this game was a exciting opportunity to act out cute cat mannerisms that will make you giddy to play. They introduce a dystopian robot world that you must become a hero for even if that means entering an almost horror like setting. However, the excitement wears off when they over use text bubbles, keep game features to a minimum, and build up a plot that doesn’t follow through. If you’re looking for a good story or a lot of creative cat oriented gameplay this isn’t exactly what you’re looking for. It’s more for the novelty of being a cat with a few sprinkles of cool visuals that ultimately leave you hanging when they aren’t actually part of the story. Maybe it was just me because I had been following the release of this game for a year or so now but when I finished the game, I was left unsatisfied.
