Extraordinarily long “mini” series filled with the visual and narrative cliches so typical of any product from the Shonda Rhimes factory. As such, this time it won’t lose the opportunity to drop predictable dialogue-bombs on Donald Trump. By the way, Shonda Rhimes’ ego looks so big that only her name and the title of the series appear on the opening titles. On the other hand, Julia Garner shines through with a light of her own, but this should not be a surprise, right? Watching her performance alone may justify paying the (high) price of having to put up with some anti-Trump isolated rants and the familiar characters always present in Ms Rhimes products. Or not.
