I think all the great SciFi writers are lost in space. I'm an avid SciFi fan, but no amount of special effects can overcome terrible writing. And no actor, no matter how talented, can make nonsense lines sound even plausible. I will watch the show, because it is watchable, but barely. I honestly wonder if most of the lines have been written by an AI.
