I’m abit behind on this as I’ve only just binge watched it, and i have actually literally just bought the book. It was one of the best things I’ve watched in a very long time!! I didn’t see the multiple personalities coming, and it was one of those “oh how bloody genius is that” moments. Brilliant acting all round. Just sensational and can’t wait to watch it again with my husband this time! Thank you for such a wonderful adaptation of the book, which I can’t wait to start reading when it arrives!! I’d give it ten stars if I could!!

Sorry but I didn’t believe a word of this. The two men came across as well rehearsed, and not two men reliving trauma as young boys. All the time Michael was supposedly doing what he was doing, the only time one of them showed a small amount of emotion was when penetration failed. It was like all the other stuff was acceptable but attempted penetration wasn’t. It felt like they were almost proud of it all when they were reliving the stories. Michael Jackson may have been many things, - and unfortunately he was strange,- and that will always go against him. I’m sure he lived his inner child, but he was a man trapped as a boy who was abused and never saw the happiness and experiences that normal happily raised children should see. That was weird sure, but not his fault. For me this is just financially motivated, and very well acted.

I’m sad to read the negative reviews as I thought it was one of the best bbc dramas they have done. I loved the acting and was drawn into each episode left waiting for the next one. The first two episodes were truely gripping, and the ending was great and so well acted. Although it was tainted with sadness it had great highs too. I’m not bothered by ethnicity in dramas or films, I’m bothered by whether I am drawn in and can’t wait to see the next episode, and this did exactly that. Dominic West was awesome, and so well cast. It was brilliant, simply brilliant!
