Transmissible Disease: Being a “Man”
The essence of the plot is efficiently lacking the purdah which has been seen as a necessary conviction by the phallocentric worldviewers.
I was deeply moved by the otherwise lack of classic ‘horror arousing effectuation’. It has been replaced by an intricately laced violence on a defenceless body, as is made visible by the bloody thighs and ice-cold blankness of a supposed gory and melodramatic scene.
The red natural satellite of the earth and equally oddball fog reeks of a horror that has been kept well hidden in the ancestral mansion. For years, the silence of noble women has been the foundation of a systematic extra sensory piousness, that sees womanhood as nothing more than a hussy who has to be silenced with expensive gifts.
Whilst this arresting chit-chat of parochial value system with the creatures of “Forbidden Forest” we may feel the need to redefine the term ‘hunting’, ‘witch hunting’ ‘love’ et al in the ambit of pursuit for change.
Clearly, a peculiar case of underrated and understated pleasures of the transmissible privilege of men.
