Judge Preston – Google

There's a fantastic well timed jump scare in this movie that nearly threw me off my sofa. The acting from Sheehan and Tennant's was great. The writing is a bit of a muddle though. There are noticeable flaws in the camera work that I could not help but notice. In particular with certain continuity errors - such as the one involving a disappearing smart phone. These flaws should not distract too much however from the fact that Bad Samaritan is a solid thriller that delivers. 3/5

I don't know why this film got so many negative reviews. It had great characters. Entertaining special effects. An interesting story. I do agree it seemed to be rushed and almost wanted to finish before it even started. And maybe a little more action wouldn't have hurt. However, despite the barely noticeable flaws, if you are looking for a fun film for the family, and you're not too much a film snob that finds the need to dissect and ruin every single thing Hollywood releases, then I highly recommend Artemis Fowl. Don't listen to the haters. I really hope there is a sequel so that i can see more of the fascinating Artemis Fowl universe.
