Tenet is Christopher Nolan's most ambitious movie to date. You could argue that he had taken on more than he could deliver. That said, the plot starts well introducing the Protagonist as a worthy hero, the story then loses some traction in the middle and comes off the rails at the end. For a movie that is as much about moving forward as it is, moving backward - it was ALWAYS going to be confusing. But Nolan does make every second enjoyable, if you "just go with it". There are some impressive scenes - but it is in no way his best work.

Wes Anderson delivers a beautifully charming and witty chocolate box filled with delights in this 100 mph romp through middle Europe in the mid 20th century from the perspective of a Hotel concierge and his Lobby boy. There is so much heart in this movie and it is carried so well by Ralph Fiennes and Tony Revolori. This movie deserves your attention and a repeat trip. I've been multiple times already and looking forward to my return. Amazing.

The story was built up very well, from multiple perspectives, separated into individual chapters. The movie felt a little long in parts and the final act was somewhat of a disappointment. That said, I thought there were some brilliant performances from Jeff Bridges, Cynthia Erivo, Jon Hamm and Lewis Pullman. There were some smart twists and character developments. I'd love to revist the El Royale.

The new characters introduced were too immature, the dialogue was predictable. The plot was mind numbingly dull. This movie was a mistake and it muddies my opinion of the original Independence Day. Avoid. Worst sequel I've watched. This is what you get when money is just thrown at a Director.
