As a die hard fan of Scott Pilgrim, I'd have to say give it a chance still. Also honestly watch it in the Japanese dub. It's awesome having the original cast back but they don't deliver their lines as great as they could have. If you watch the second episode over again with the Japanese dub, youll see what i mean. It just all feels so much more natural. Besides that, after the 3rd episode I was hooked again. This is a perfect "different" version of Scott Pilgrim. Kinda reminds me of the marvel "What If" series. My favorite episode so far is episode 3. I know the creators wanted to try something different, but I was REALLY excited for the anime to show off the original story. It would've been perfect too.
