Perfection. Firstly, the writing. Each of the characters is so intricately woven, their traits so strongly written. You are constantly finding something new to admire in these characters, and by the time the series ends, you have fallen in love with all of them. The cinematography in the drama is extremely beautiful. The set, lighting, locations, all tailored to capture the emotions in the scene perfectly. And of course, I have nothing to say about the acting. Each actor did incredible justice to their characters. Overall, this is a solid series to watch.

I was initially skeptical- I hadn't picked up romance in a while and I believed I had grown out of it. A few chapters into this book however, I was enraptured. The characters, the imagery and subplots within the main plot- I kept on reading, wanting more. When the book ended, I thought it was a good read, but then as the weeks rolled by I couldn't stop thinking about it. Now it's been more than two months since I read The Stationery Shop of Tehran and even thinking of the book makes me want to relive the experience of reading it once again.
