Original tmnt fan from late 80s. Kid and I watched it. Kids reaction- “They never win”. Totally agree. I understand character development but it’s a kids hero movie and they never won a single fight. Fumbled their way through the first set of goons to save April but it’s was just one weak sauce fight scene after the next. Then become buddies with all the villains? Wth- any way. Cool to see the tmnt come back to the scene, just not what I was hoping for.
