While an improvement to 2k20 still a rather unenjoyable time over all. The ai is still incredibly dumb, legendary difficulty is just reverses more, just as every wrestling game before it any time you are on the losing end feels completely out of your control. Time to get a drink til the game decides to register my correctly timed reverses. The pin system and submission system are both good improvements but with the ai being as bad as it is kinda overshadowes that improvement. Gm mode is cool but the og version is way better it's clear they did a lot of effort to streamline a lot of the returning features but honestly some features shouldn't be streamlined like universe where honestly a smackdown 2 game had the best version despite it not being called universe yet. Rankings easy to see and go to while editing matchesa clear view of your show and your match card on the same screen. Honestly if the attempted improvement wasn't so obvious I'd give it 1 star for that ai. Never once does it feel like I did something wrong when I get hot or stuck in a combo it instead feels like the computer just decided that it was my turn to get hit for a while and that is really bad game design. In a good system when I get hit yeah I might get mad but at myself because it 100% feels like I messed up. In a game with good ai and hitboxes it feels like it's the players skill and failures leading the experience but in your game when I dominate the computer it feels like taking candy away from a baby and when it gets a combo it feels like there was no control at all over it. I don't know if it's an input latency on the button to system or if the game is just hyper unresponsive to button presses. But not once has it ever felt like I failed to reverse or I failed to stop insert event. That's a problem. Also hell in a cell ai matches don't work
