This anime is one of the best animes out there (in my opinion) because of how the psychological thriller is handled very well and still has the horror elements that make it so interesting. Mima's derealization highlights the details of her losing herself and thinking she is not a real person and it makes the plot more interesting and has you hooked. People complained about how this movie is confusing, but that's the point. If you were confused watching the movie, you are watching it correctly. You are seeing the same things as Mima, wondering which scene is real or not. For Halloween, I dressed up as her. Overall, this is a great movie.
