The Crowed Room is well acted, and I found Tom Holland's portrayal of a person with DID acutely accurate - hauntingly so since I grew up with Billy. Therefore, nothing in this story surprised me but I am biased. I wonder if the series had been marketed as a psychological drama instead of a "thriller" the critics would have seen the the tragic impact of trauma and what Mr. Goldsman worked to achieve. While he leaves Danny institutionalized in what seems to be lovely setting, nothing is further from the truth of the mental health system in the 1980s or even now. Our mental health system is grossly lacking. ~Kathy
