Having read the preface,intro & first chapter only. I've found an enjoyable, well translated to English yet factual account and analysis of the early days of people and events making world history or civilisation in Rome, Byzantine and surrounds. Then comes the advent of the Arab prophet, Muhammad with changes to the world and civilisation. A must read for anyone interested in a better world.
