No issue with the graphics they are fine. However as others have mentioned the game play is atrocious for casual non competitive players. I want to play a fast paced fun game of video game basketball. I don’t want to have to be a video game wizard to make a shot, especially since it wasn’t that hard before.
EDIT - soo I posted this review a week ago after trying to play with myPlayer and was very frustrated. Also had tried some league games and got waxed on rookie. So I wrote a long negative review. Anyways I decided to play again on rookie. I did not use the shot stick. Looks like they may have fixed the game. Playing as Lakers at home I beat Mavs by 25 and made a lot of open shots and standard basketball plays. Guys caught the ball in the lane and naturally made moves to score and dunk instead of missing easy layups like before.
Then I played the NBA today feature on rookie which is really cool you can pick a game from the current schedule and play so I played as Raptors against Spurs. I got out to a quick start on the road as Kyle Lowry was hot from behind the arc. But the AI started anticipating some of my cheap perimeter plays and made it a one possession game for the last minute and a half. So it was fun and it reacted like a normal video game on rookie. So I don't know if this got fixed or what but at least I'm able to make basketball shots and use guys to do things like I would see on TV. That's all I ask I know I'm not a Hall of Fame level gamer but if I can win the title on pro after a couple weeks of grinding that's all I ask.
Either way maybe try this again if you were frustrated and see if the shooting is a little better for you. it was for me.
