The preparation and production of the show is first class; and, has been since the beginning. What is wrong is the scoring of the contestants. Last night's results was so far wrong that the show may lose viewers, permanently! Including the viewer votes is good as it keeps the viewership up. But, the viewership vote has too much weight to the final outcome. Hopefully the producers will reach the same conclusion and adjust the voting algorithm. One option might be to accumulate the total of the judges scores for each contestant for the duration of each season; and, give the judges accumulated scores more weight in the overall outcome.
