I can’t. With the 2024 makeup mixed with 1800’s outfits. Or the bad acting and writing. When I first saw the preview I was so confused as to what time period it was supposed to be taking place in. FYI, surprise parties didn’t exist in the 19th century (if that is in fact the century you’re aiming for). Just choose an era and stick to it.

I don’t even know what I just spent two hours watching. I was excited because I like all the actors in the movie. Bonnie from the vampire diaries? Yes please! And who doesn’t love Theo James? Starts off with some mysterious and supposedly catastrophic event on the west coast, that causes the entire country to lose power and cell service. Dad and future son in law have to drive cross-country to save daughter/Theo’s pregnant girlfriend. Most of the movie was the two of them driving and fighting people along the way that try to kill them. All the while they are trying to get to the girlfriend/daughter Sam (aka Bonnie from TVD) in Seattle. Also there was a character named Rickie with them, who eventually runs away and is never reintroduced. Then Will (Theo) finally reaches her somewhere outside of the city of Seattle, which is now a pile of rubble. Sadly, Dad has passed away at this point. Then the whole movie ends with Sam and Will reunited and trying to outrun a gigantic fiery cloud of smoke (supposedly caused by a second catastrophic event that they never explain) and then the screen turns to black. I mean, was it an atomic bomb? An attack by extraterrestrials? Just your normal run-of-the-mill natural disaster? What happened to Rickie? I guess no one will ever know.

Absolutely loved this show! From beginning to end. Every season kept me interested and intrigued. I also LOVED the nick and adalind love story. It was so unexpected and unbelievably sweet the way they progressed them as a couple. I’m sad it’s over and will miss all of the incredible characters!

I like the show just fine, but I don’t think it’s deserving of a 96% rotten tomatoes rating. The comedy is ok, there are a couple of laughs but for a comedy I expected more for sure. My favorite thing about the show is the awareness and discussion they created for the indigenous people. Otherwise the show is just alright.

The only explanation that seemed plausible was the one given by Florence in the last episode. Otherwise I feel they wasted a lot of time ping ponging between different conspiracy theories that had little to no credibility. The good thing about the documentary is bringing the story back to light, spreading awareness that this plane still needs to be found and the families of the 239 souls on board deserve answers.
