People that are criticizing this movie are hypocrites, old heads with nostalgia and haters! Now everyone seems to be a professional critique, they swear that they have knowledge in filmmaking haha. These hypocrites say LBJ acting is bad, was MJ acting good? Hell nah! I can argue that LBJ had better acting scenes, because at least big part of the movie was animated like a cartoon, that was a smart choice, it’s easier to voice act than fully act. Did Lebron gave us an Oscar worthy performance? Of course not! Neither did Mj, right? Nobody expected that, if you did you’re delusional, he ain’t an actor, neither was MJ, but it wasn’t horrible. I rewatched the first Space Jam before watching this sequel and there’s so many bad acting scene that it’s crazy how they can say that LBJ and the other cast had bad acting, at least Don Cheadle had better acting than the whole first movie. The storytelling is way better than the first one, the pacing is good, the message of the movie is good, the visuals are good and it’s just a solid movie, it’s not amazing, but it’s not bad like others are saying. In the aspect of filmmaking the first one have a way better soundtrack, that’s it, other than that? This movie is superior in every other aspect of filmmaking. Like I said, the acting is better, the storytelling is better, the cinematography is better and don’t get me started with excuses like “Oh! But the first one is from 1996” so what!? Some of the best cinematography in history is from even older movies than Space Jam, so stop it. This movie is overheated and we all know why, it’s because LBJ, that’s it. It is a solid movie, not a masterpiece, just a cool movie. It is a 6.5/10 movie.
