*contains spoilers* What a terrible film. Totally nonsensical and unrealistic, woman leaves her family due to what seems like debt and unmanageable spending habits. No real timeline of events. Very light skin and too young a woman chosen for the role, not a good match for the children used. They turn out to be psychotic and murderous. Apparently she actually left them years ago due to a controlling and violent partner. Seemingly hates black people and anything related to black culture. And then at the end somehow the family of 4 are overpowered by 2 teenagers, no one makes an attempt to defend or attack the intruders, and then that damned tap in the kitchen just keeps on running. Why are the only black characters in the film portrayed as lunatics? No idea how some people have given this 5 stars. Not scary or thrilling at all, waste of 1hour 30 mins.
