So I’ve been a fan of Halo pretty much my whole life, it was the first game that I ever played on the Xbox. Now did this show not follow the game? Yes, and that is completely okay. Why would you want a 1 for 1 adaptation of something that you have played many times? Makes no sense, unless you are a boring person who does not like change. The thing I like about this show is how it changed the story up, almost like an alternate universe. It also brought Halo to life, the cinematography of the show was amazing. Seeing it in live action was like a dream come true. Everything about it was beautiful. Now did the story have some flaws? Yes but that is okay because just a like a human it has flaws. Now the first season was alright but the second is where everything picked up and it was phenomenal. If you go into the show with an open mind it’s pretty good. Now I’m quite disappointed that it hasn’t been renewed for a third season and hope that it finds another streaming platform. But overall I would recommend the show, even if it’s not a 1 for 1 of the game give it a try.
