It’s been a long while that a movie touched me the way “Belfast” did. Stellar performances, cinematography, screenplay, direction and soundtrack. I left the theatre yearning for a “simpler” time, which sounds odd, considering the film is set during “The Troubles” which brought such violence, sadness and strife to Northern Ireland. But, the juxtaposition of a family dealing with their own struggles, had you somehow coming away from it, feeling hope for all.
