I loved the original back in the 90's, even a couple of the sequels after weren't bad. But I should have learned after how bad Scream 5 was, because 6... it's absolutely rubbish. The first 10 minutes or so was different, thought maybe there's hope, but nope. Poor acting contantly drew me out of the movie. It's very woke, has unbelievable hero armour, too much "feels" (this is supposed to be a horror not drama), and the characters are more annoying than anything instead of making an audience actually care about them. Couldn't have cared less about any of the characters, 45 minutes in I actually wanted to see the main cast get killed off! By 80 mins in I was so bored i thought I'd laugh, and right in the middle of a stab scene too. Don't waste your time or money on this trash.
