If you are looking for a woke-free classic masculine action series look no further! Honestly this is the best mini series we’ve seen all year IMO. Chris Pratt delivers in this and shows us that he is more than just a funny guy, I found all the supporting roles well cast and convincing as well. Great story line with all the crucial elements to keep an audience engaged, and some real thought provoking poetic/metaphorical moments as well! All around great show but personally I think making a season 2 would be over milking the cow.

As said in prior reviews, this was a very slow burn and a little anticlimactic. Despite that though, I found myself captivated with it throughout and that may well have to do with the memorable performance and overall vibe of Oscar Isaac. It was a very layered and thought provoking movie with many metaphoric undertones that highlight real life societal problems.

This movie is excellent. Heart warming, very funny at times, and inspiring. I always know a movie is worth watching when it has dismal reviews by the 'critics' but raving ones from the public! This movie is exactly what our world needs right now, a true testament to the nature of suffering, and strength by faith to persevere. Truly one for the books and I agree with others here that Mark Whalberg should win an Oscar for his performance of Father Stu. But I will not hold out for that, knowing the academy and Hollywood in general have a certain political agenda that doesn't align with faith in God.
