I’ve seen this movie about five times now and enjoyed it every single time. Any movie with Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy or Kate McKinnon in it is always going to be funny. I wasn’t familiar with Lesley Jones, but she fit the cast well too. I’m guessing she comes from a background of standup?
I understand the “men’s movement” did everything they could to destroy this movie because, well, it was led by women and they just gotta hate anything that isn’t all about straight white men. If you preferred original Ghostbusters, that’s great. I saw it on its day of release and love it to this day. But truthfully I like this one more. And if you don’t like this one? Don’t whine about it. The original still exists for you to get nostalgic about. And there’s Ghostbusters Afterlife for those “canon” nerds.
