SPOILER ALERTS: I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy the beginning of the show (First 2 of episodes). I got hooked on the advertising of the show and the lines from the campsite. But as the show went on, I noticed a few uncomfortable things:
Kristen Bell playing a young 30 something?
Talking about guys and relationships like they are just short flings and normal, and using it as fodder for her podcasts?
Another podcasts setting.
Also trying Lesbianism like it's just something you do like buying a pair of sneakers because it looks nice, but realize that it is not comfortable and doesn't really fit well?
Treating Judaism with almost mockery (and I am not a Jew).
Noah on a rebound relationship that sounds like what Rabbis seem do with regularity?
And lastly (though I could mention more), making Noah doubt his faith and his dream of being a Rabbi that he had since he was a kid?
Joanne (Bell) is the type of character that would hook up with someone new the very next day from the shuttle ride and use it in her podcasts.
The supporting cast was okay, except for the annoying spineless brother.
