I love Pixar's movies, but this was disappointing. The story was inexistent for the first half of the movie. I barely smiled, maybe once. Most of the scenes felt "deja-vu" - the walk over the canyon, the spells, the driving.
The main character was clearly "recycled", and was not the only one. The wicked fairies escaped from Tinker Bell, other characters Monsters Inc and Gremlins and the big brother was the version of Trixie Lulamoon -(Fans of My Little Pony know) - the one who most wanted to have magic and didn't have it, go figure - and the whole thing was quite predictable.
The story was weak, but, the visuals were well done and the animation top notch,
I purchased the movie but I don't think I want to watch it again. I'll watch Monsters, Inc. instead. I truly hope "Soul" will be at least as good as "Inside Out".
