It’s been years since I listened to White Horse, written by Michael and Stormie Omartian; and it’s hard to believe it was produced/recorded 50 years ago. The arrangements and musicianship are amazing, ahead of its time in demonstrating the potential of contemporary Christian music to reach a large audience. The lyrics are beautifully symbolic and haunting at times, but they clearly communicate the Christian faith.
