If you like stories with unlikeable main characters, a story line that changes more than the seasons, and wasted potential this is the movie for you! The only likeable character was the dad, he carried the whole movie. The plot was awful and felt like it went a million different directions, the main character is so poorly written that I actually wanted her to fail. The story was like if you gave AI a prompt to make a movie like the good dinosaur, ET, and the Gremlins and then told it to make it awful. I’ve never seen a movie with so much wasted potential. I genuinely thought about leaving the movies multiple times. Other than the dad the movie does have amazing cinematography, in-fact I would’ve rather watched an hour and a half of just the shots they took then whatever the hell that movie was. I felt like I was on a very bad trip and I’ve never even done drugs. The story felt like something your fiend would make up in kindergarten that “totally happened”. How this even made it to the main stream theatres is beyond me, I’ve seen more compelling stories made on an old iPhone on YouTube. Don’t waste your time or money.
