Haven’t played cod in like 6 years. Thought i’d give this one a try since it’s on game pass and i’m throughly enjoying it so far. I’ve put 26 hours and the gameplay is great. Servers are a little buggy here and thats once every 6 games. Multiplayer: Omni movement is really incredible adding for much more unique flow of the game. (After using it going back to older cods feels very clunky) A few maps are very large making time between interactions kinda miserable, and some of the smaller maps are very spawn kill oriented. The medium size ones are great tho. (Really love Warhead and Gala) Weapon Progression is quite slow, but the unlocks (camos) give you plenty to grind for. Prestige rewards are very nice! Cool skins and loading screens Zombies: Though liberty falls still lacks aura, the gameplay itself is very fun. I’d recommend changing the hud features to make the visuals less intrusive.) The easter egg is quite simple, but for an “easy” map it feels fitting. Boss zombies are a bit of a bullet sponge, but the ray gun cleans them up nicely. Gobble gums aren’t pay to win which is incredible, and augments look interesting (haven’t done too much with them yet) Terminus feels like a classic zombies map is truly an awesome zombies experience. Other Notes: The Cod launcher is kinda ass tho ngl. (I haven’t played the campaign yet but i’ve heard good things) Overall if you have game pass i’d definitely recommend it, but buying straight up id feel a bit apprehensive about. A lot of the 1 star reviews are definitely just hate without playing. There’s a lot to love, and if you’ve been having that cod urge and haven’t played in a while it’s worth a try. It definitely is a cod game at the end of the day.
