This movie had some funny parts, but ultimately it was a huge letdown. When you compare a movie to Superbad, you are setting a high bar to which you should at least come close. The humor, which was exclusively about 6th grade boys being confused about sex, became very redundant. To add to the eyerolls, the movie has several sappy scenes that had me wanting to press fast forward. I will admit that the main characters acted well, and I did laugh out loud a few times, but this movie fell very short of the hype.
